Los jóvenes, moving quickly and with malicious intent, intimidated the deliveryman with spells of fear and stole not only his personal belongings but also the food he was carrying. Despite being left injured and humiliated, Del-Ivery reported the incident to the Guards of the Law station in the city. In an unusual turn of events, the guards immediately set out to track down the perpetrators.
Two of the suspects attempted to escape through a narrow alleyway, but the guards were able to follow their trail and discovered their hidden lair. There, they found all four individuals, along with illegal weapons stashed in the rafters and various substances and containers linked to the illicit trade of potions. Some of these potions were said to cause tremors, dry mouth, and increased appetite.
One of the young men also had a warrant out for his arrest due to past illegal activities, marking him as a repeat offender in the books of the kingdom. As a result, his fate was sealed and he, along with the other three, were taken into custody. The guards report concluded with a final warning: those who dabble in the dark arts will eventually face a bitter end. The four young criminals were locked away, with little hope of redemption.
It is said that the path of darkness only grows deeper behind bars, according to legend.
Note: This is a fictional retelling based on real events, inspired by an old story from La Cuarta read by the author during their childhood in the 90s. In that version, a tale of passion crime was reimagined as a story of samurais. Related Topics: Crime.,
